[Valentine’s Day]

So Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and, to be honest, as much as I love to spread the LOVE I really can’t get excited about this date. It’s a shame that a day dedicated to eating chocolates, receiving flowers and swooning around feeling adorable isn’t embraced with more, well, Love.

I did think about sending my friends all Valentine’s Day cards telling them I Loved them, but was disheartened by the fact that I couldn’t find them in a multi-pack. Actually, when I realised how ridiculous that sounded I decided that it is actually a good thing.

Anyway, I have some cute gifts for you to buy for your Loved ones, regardless of your relationship … it’s just a nice thing to do. And I’m going to make my own multi-pack of cards to send to my Loved ones.

Happy New Year… Can you believe it’s almost February!!

I hope you are all having a fabulous start to 2014 and there’s lots to look forward to. As you may know, I’m a very firm believer in keeping everything in life happy, fun and full of love. However I would like to take a moment to share a sobering thought because my dearest friends’ neighbour hasn’t had a great start. I don’t know all the details however this young man has tried several times in the last month to leave this world. I can understand many things but this is something I struggle with terribly.

Little does he know, he has inspired me to make a bracelet celebrating love of man, men, guys, blokes, etc. and the most important love of all, self love.

The situation has also encouraged me to call my friend, who lives in LA, more often than I normally would. Why do these situations make us act how we should before something like this happens? Too many questions to ask and answer in this little message and I am certainly no expert. All I wish, dream and pray for, is for us all to be kinder. Show more compassion and take a moment to remember that life is so incredibly special, fragile and irretrievable once gone. We don’t know what is happening in someone else’s life nor could we imagine how they are struggling with it, even with a brave face.

Kindness takes strength so practice being nice …. Believe me, it becomes a wonderful habit and makes everything so much easier and fabulous.

[Happy New Year – 2014]

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

This year is going to be super fabulous and I’m so excited that the wonderful has already started!!

There are some new designs that I’ve been working on and a couple of new ventures … fingers crossed they’re loved as much as I’ve loved making them.

One of the things I really enjoy about starting any new year is that everybody else seems excited as well. There’s so much positivity in the air and it’s almost too much goodness for us to handle. Let’s hope we can. In fact, I know we can … let’s make 2014 the most amazing year yet.

[Pop Up Shop] – Fi Design Style

I really enjoy selling my bracelets online and hearing from people via Facebook, Instagram and right here on my Blog. However, I was missing the more personal element of talking to people, swapping ideas and having interesting conversations.

So with a couple of my gorgeous girlfriends we decided to have our own Pop Up Shop. We had such a lovely morning, met some neighbours and got some great tips for the next one. Or maybe a market stall. I like the idea of a Pop Up Shop so we can do this whenever we want to without anyone else’s rules and of course, when the sun is shining.

The ‘Shop’ was a hit and we’re already planning the next one …. Stay tuned as we’ll also have new products, competitions and lots more fun!!

I’ve been incredibly blessed by so many wonderful people in my life and I want to especially thank Brooke Swavley as she has inspired and encouraged me to follow my dreams and make them happen.

I love that we have had such a great time these last 12 months and I can only imagine what we’ll achieve (and get up to) in the following years.
